Tailki's intent-recognition model is powered by a server-side AI large language model, not a simple machine-learning model used by many so-called pet translators. After consulting with pet behavior experts, we found that a pet's emotions and needs are expressed not only through vocal sounds, but also through posture, movement, and behavior patterns over time. Tailki is the first AI smart collar designed to interpret pet intent through vocal cues, continuous posture and behavior analysis, and long-term automatic calibration.

You can control the collar through the Tailki app. When Behavior Monitoring Mode is turned on, the posture sensors identify and record your pet's daily movements and positions. The server-side AI model then analyzes this behavior to provide insights such as activity level, calories burned, sleep duration, and more long-term recommendations. Please note that this mode may increase power consumption.

Tailki's GPS can track your pet's location globally with no fixed distance limit, so you can check your pet's location even when you are far away. It works similarly to a smartphone GPS, using a modem and mobile communication service. As with a phone, there may be signal blind spots or unstable signals in certain areas.

Communicating with animals has always been one of humanity's dreams, but pets do not have a precise and detailed language system. With the help of AI, Tailki can enrich their simple expressions and turn them into personality-driven conversations with you. The AI model improves and calibrates based on your conversational feedback, growing naturally over time. You may be surprised to find that its responses begin to feel more and more like your own pet.

Chat Mode uses your pet's personality model to create fun and expressive conversations. If you only want to understand your pet through factual data, Groundtruth Mode is designed for that. It answers based entirely on real sensor data from your pet.

We plan to officially launch our Kickstarter campaign in September. We expect to begin shipping gradually in November 2026. Once there are updates related to your order, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Your support means a lot to us. It helps us better understand the real needs of pet owners and continuously improve pet well-being. If we fail to ship on time, your deposit will be fully refunded. You're also welcome to email us at any time to request a refund.

Tailki provides a 12-month limited warranty for its smart collar device, covering defects in materials or workmanship. This includes, but is not limited to, issues such as the device failing to power on, charge, connect, or perform core functions such as AI interaction, GPS, or health tracking. If remote diagnosis confirms a warranty issue, we will send you a brand-new replacement device free of charge. In some cases, the faulty device may need to be returned for analysis.

Tailki is being designed with reference to North American IoT security practices, including NISTIR 8259 and the U.S. Cyber Trust Mark framework. Tailki's voice interaction only processes the information needed to complete user requests and support the pet interaction experience. We do not sell conversation data or use conversations for advertising. If we introduce a product-improvement data program in the future, it will be opt-in, clearly explained in the app, and users will be able to turn it off at any time.

Yes. Tailki is designed to be as compact and lightweight as possible, making it suitable for smaller cats and dogs. We have also designed separate personality and posture-recognition systems for cats.
